Paris-Roubaix Cycling Print
This mid-century inspired cycling print celebrates Paris-Roubaix. It forms part of the Spring Classics season and is one of five major one day races in the professional cycling calendar, referred to as: 'The Monuments'. We love them all, but this particular race happens to be our favourite.
The nickname 'L'Enfer du Nord' (The Hell of the North) is more than apt due to the punishing parcour; consisting of cobbled sections or 'pavé', but the term originates from assessments of the course, following the devastating after effects of World War I.
This is not a race for the faint-hearted or for riders at the lighter end of the scale, who struggle with the uncompromising conditions. The design represents the nightmarish atmosphere of post-war devastation, the unforgiving severity of the course and the dangers that await both riders and equipment.
We offer a choice of two print sizes which you can select from the drop down menu:
30 x 40 cm (12 x 16 inches approx)
A2: (42 x 59.4 cm / 16.5 x 23.4 inches approx)
This design is produced with Canon 'Lucia' pigment inks onto archival quality, acid-free paper, creating a beautiful art print.
Your print will be hand-finished, carefully wrapped in acid-free tissue paper and packed in a sturdy cardboard tube to ensure that it reaches you in tip-top condition.
N.B. All Prints are sold unframed and unmounted
